Since I was a child I have always been interested in keeping bees. This interest was reserved for future me until I met a local beekeeper, Tim Jackson.

Tim has been kind enough to show me the ins and outs of bee keeping, During the spring and summer months I have been able to help him maintain his hives in rural North Dorset, capturing rouge swarms from gardens, treetops and hedgerows, to understanding how he is able to produce honey that he sells from his doorstep and from local shops around the Shaftesbury area of Dorset all while keeping the bee colonies healthy and sustainable.
